    Help?

    So apparently I've got a bully on my island threatening to attack within 24 hours.

    (I'm on Nihoios [73:2] - "Silop" is my town's name...)

    I've only got about 20 slingers and 3 or 4 swordsman and, judging solely on his town hall's size on the island map since I don't have any spies or anything of the sort developed, he'll probably lay the total pwn train all over about a weeks worth of development on my part.

    Anybody in the area willing to come lay the smack down, (if that's even possible), for a humble TG nooblet?

    I can make brownies.

    I'd give you more details but apparently the Alpha server is down at the moment and I can't log in to get stats right now. I think my town hall is a level 6 or so and my barracks are a 2.

    You're quite a distance from anybody all the way up there! I think the best thing you can do is threaten him with TGA retribution and hope he gets scared off. I'll send some threats too when I can log back in...

    Often these nubs don't realize how to work out how far away someone is from them ...


    BTW: What is the name of the town the guy is threatening you from? I'm guessing it's hetree, I've seen him on the official forums and he's a right nob.

    I sent hetree a threatening message to which he replied that he was going to attack you because you have not donated anything to the island.

    I have negotiated with hetree that he will not attack you if you start donating to island resources. I suggest that you donate at least a few hundred (if not thousand) wood to your sawmill and quarry, and start making regular donations. I think this is a reasonable solution, developing your island resources helps you too.

    In the long-term, I'd suggest that you start your next colony close to a big TGA cluster so that you can trade and defend better. Maybe even abandon your capital.

    The donation was his initial demand - so nothing had really changed.

    I have some to donate but not everything that he demands. Yes, he is a right nob.

    You need to colonize down in 6x:8x, 6x:7x ASAP! TGA and Ikonic's vast military are mostly stationed in that range of coords.

    It would take me 2 days to get a naval fleet up to you way up there, and cost me probably at least 240000 gold to get a decent force up there for that time. Even some of the others closer to you are still probably at least 24hrs away.

    The best you can do in your situation is to start donating to your island. hetree assured me he would not attack you if you started doing that.

    In fact, I threatened war on one of my neighbours yesterday for not donating to island resources. He donated 2000 wood to our sawmill and quarry soon after. Personally, I think players should donate to island resources on all there islands. I can't help you any further sorry.

    I share an island with hetree [56:18]. I've had friendly dealings with him so far, but if he's now an enemy of the alliance (is he?), I'd be all for opening up on him.

    RedTalon, Tonk, you guys are near by. Wanna join in?

    Edit: can we get this moved to the alliance forum since tritone has access to it
