Bashing Rule Update

As of the 7th of may, blockades WILL be included towards the bashing rule. So blockading somebody will count as one attack towards the basing rule limit.
To make perfectly clear, the blockade IS an attack, even if you do not pillage them after, this is just an attack of the sea as apose to the land, and will be treated just like any other attack.
Please be careful and adjust your gaming stratagy acordingly.
This will be enforced as of 7th May 00:00 server time, to give everybody a chance to get themself up to date.

The admins are either 13, or completely illiterate. There are more spelling and grammatical errors in that rule post than I can count.

Could they be none native English speakers? I guess that would be a form of illiteracy.
But any rate. I generally don't like rules that are supposed to be tribal knowledge. If they want the rule enforce it in the game.

That is a silly rule to impliment. I mean come on if you blockade the guy and hammer him with 5 pillage runs, whats one more pillage? It just doesn't makes sense to add this type of rule as an amendment.

Most of the expense in pillaging is the cost of the blockade. Now there is one less opportunity to recoup the cost.

These rules are stupid... if people aren't forced to go to the official forums and snoop around, how can they expect everyone to comply with them? I mean, I understand and appreciate the bashing rule, but it should be coded it into the game - otherwise it's just not enforceable on a game of this scale!
