Too Sulfer or too Glass
Alright so I am ready for my 3rd colony, but I can't decide whether or not to go for glass or sulfur. As of right now I am in need of both, my military is weak and many composes of one ship and about 50 slingers and 2 swordsmen, sooner or later I am going to need to get sulfur. Glass is pretty self explanatory.
So the question is should I go for glass and wait to build my military, or should I go for sulfur and start making me some fancy Phalanxs.|TG-Irr|WarV

What are the luxury goods provided by your current colonies by chance?

Get glass, then get another marble.

I agree. Sulfur is a cheap commodity (at least in my part of the world), but glass and marble are always trading for top coin.

If you are wanting a good military, then go with glass for the upgrades. You won't be disappointed. Sulfur is easy to buy.
