There is another city at Estietia[36:70] > Midgard which only has 5 Phalanx in defense.

My Gyrocopters and auxiliaries are en route to Asgard. They 'dine' at 7pm.

I am a bit worried that my fleet may not win the opening battle. I have only dispatched ten fully upgraded ballista ships (cost and speed). Does anyone have a fleet within eight hours that could whip up a storm in Asgard?

Wow, I just checked my gold: I am losing 10k an hour. That is a jump from 1.5k before the land assault left town!

EDIT: My upcoming fleet action is going to be dicey. By mistake I dispatched Balista ships instead of my flamethrower ships. I have ten balista ships five hours away but he has fifteen ram ships (right now). My balista ships have two upgrades and our foe only has a level two workshop. Can anyone send some ships to help soften him up?

The mistake is all mine - this is my first fleet action and I didn't look carefully enough at the graphic!

I have failed you all. His 23 ram ships were just too much for my 10 balista vessels. My admiral fell on his sword and I had his family disemboweled.

I may send a larger contingent of flamethrower ships tomorrow. Alas, Babylon...

If we are still at war I can dispatch a number of ships/men from my newest colony at Ceti Alpha V. This port is only seventeen hours away for a blockade, which is sure better than the twenty seven hours from my capital, Kirkville.

The dismal performance of my first fleet blockade has left my people in a funk. Whereas we have sacrificed pigs, goats, and the occasional human (some French tourists), we crave revenge.

Let me know (Lorax74) if hostilities need to continue?

Heh, don't ask me, I just complained that this guy was being hostile towards me in a way that didn't, and still doesn't, make sense. If it were up to me, I'd say keep on giving it to him since he hasn't responded to anyone's attempts at diplomacy.

10-4 Lormax. I am currently building my fleet at my newest colony. Do you have a fleet? If so, we could combine our attack (military alliance and all that...).

I do not have a fleet yet, I'm working towards relocating (this area isn't that great, average price for building materials is 35g if that gives you an idea).

I would recommend that you buy at least one ram ship and place it in your harbors. That way the would be pillager would have to send a blockade, etc. Sometimes just that hassle is enough to thwart the casual attacker.

I just expanded my newest colony 19 hours away from my home (which is a nice place, btw). Take a look at Ceti Alpha V's coordinates: the colony is located one of the TGA hubs.

I don't think I'm going to relocate, not sure atm...seems like too much trouble, hopefully some TGA move my way or are already close-ish.
