Am I playing on the right Site...(newb)

I started playing Ikariam when I realized it was free, something to fill in-betweens of the day. At first I looked the game up on google and clicked on the first one, though I noticed on the "Ikariam" forum on a stickied thread something about there being a ".com" and ".org" and I should get the .com, they both look the exact same (from what I saw)...is this the correct site? http://ikariam.com/

EDIT: My question has been answered, but below I have some other questions ^.^

Yea, Your fine, just make sure your on Ikariam.com and on the alpha server and you should be set..

I'm on Alpha so its good. I read the Wiki starters guide. One thing I have a problem with is only building one thing at a time :\ Will there be anything about that later on? And also, when I have the resources should I get a town wall or upgrade my academy to lv2, which first?

Edit: Right, so far I have the Trading port (lv1) Academy (After I get more Resources soon lv2) Barracks (lv1) and the Town Hall (lv2), What do I need to build more buildings...?

EDIT again: From what I said in the edit above, do I have to have the supplies needed for it before I see it as an option? If so thats stupid since I'm not able to tell how much it is...

It really matters what island resource your starting with, but a market can be kind of crucial to starting up, I primarily used just plain text messages but markets do help..

Ports are a necessity, Its reccommended by most to not level your port up past 1 (though I have a couple that are level 2 and one thats 3)..
Academys are also essential when starting out as research lets you make more buildings and reduces the cost of building, resource gathering and etc.

I'd go for a nice academy then a tavern then a market. (Taverns will give your people happiness even if not used with wine, once you put wine in it though and it depletes they'll feel the negatives).

The island I'm on has Wood and Crystal...And I'm curious, where do I look to see if anyone is on his/her way to do anything to me? lol.
Edit: And also, after I get Conservation, Pulley, and Wealth, (I have Well Digging) what should I then get? EDIT: Lol, obviously a Wine Press for Taverns right?

Alright yea, I started with Crystal also then went to Wine which I'm still not sure if I should've gone to Marble first or not but either way will probably work out fine..

Check the military looking guy with the old roman type helmet to see if anyones on their way to attack you (im not sure if you have to check it for each city to see or if one will tell if anyone is coming to any one of your cities).

Taverns help your city build rapidly, actually kind of the best way IMO though museums will also do, What I remember of what I did was go with the science technology first but kind of keep it even with what I was levelling up (except military, I've never been attacked before, never really saw the need to pillage either).

(Sorry if anything doesnt make sense, somewhat tipsy right now)

The background will highlight in red if someone is on their way to attack you. In fact all of the guys up there highlight in one color or another to let you know that something needs attention.

AWESOME I did an experimental plunder on a inactive lvl1 in my island to see how long it'd take, (whoppin' 22 minutes) and got 600 Wood from it

Oh yeah, I only sent one slinger. Cool, lol :P I thought I'd get nothign back for a low lvl...he must've set his lumberjacks up high...Was that lucky or average?! I'm attacking a lv2 inactive with two Slingers now lol.

EDIT: I still really need to know what to upgrade, I'll be moving my Capital so idk what I need, I can upgrade: Wall to lvl2, Hall to lvl3, Warehouse to lvl2, Acad to lvl3. which ones first and which ones should I not upgrade at all since I'm moving...
And what lvl would my town be around when I move? Just wondering if its soon or not.
