Resource collection problem.

I have set up my first colony upon a crystal island.

But the thing is, I cannot put more than 8 researchers into my new acadamy, I cannot add a governors residence (says insuff. wood, though I have 3000).

The big problem is, I cannot collect any resources from the island.
Neither wood nor crystal.

Help?

Iam thinking its a population problem. How many peeps do you have total?

The slider for the crystal and wood doesn't even show up.
I have 60 in the town. 8 on research.

Probably just a common glitch that I also get frequently, when you select your new colony make sure you click on the name of the colony in the selection list then to show my island or whatever, sometimes what happens with me is I'll be at my first colony doing things then shift over to my second colony while the website still thinks im trying to change stuff with my first for some reason,

I'm guessing it's a population issue as well. Stop collecting wood and crystal and then try assigning more to research and see what happens.

Don't infantry, etc factor into population as well?

Haven't gotten around to building up an army. And I don't have any citizens on collection duty on that island, as the slider to add them doesn't show up.

Clear your browser cache? Which browser are you using? Using any scripts that might affect Ikariam?

Also, which island is it?

Cleared cache, i'm using Firefox 3 (and loving it,

), and it's on the .org site, the island is called mapios

Yeah i also admit i told mcs to atack us so i could joi nthem o i had a reason not to just say i lkike mcs better than when they told atomic and atomic told eveyone it just got me out of any of them well sorry tga thanks for the fun times
