Odd thing in research

I have no idea why, but all of my fields of research are set to "Cannon Casting". I have my research branch as science and it insists on researching military. I can't change it. Is there a reason for this? Bug? Something?

The bug is what, that you can't switch fields of research or your researchers are fixated with "canon casting"? Is there a way around it?

Nope :/ I just finished Utopia, and now I'm back researching Utopia AGAIN! I can't change it... looks just like yours! Oh well... until they fix it, I fired all my scientists and started making some cash.... figure I'll get a few million in gold and then field the mother of all armies

I have the same thing with Utopia, I will let my points build up to where I can automatically get my next upgrade. Then I will fire my scientists until they fix it.

Re: Odd thing in research

I could not fire all my guys do to (coruption) my bar had a line around the town square. So the smart slaves kept working. Well they researched mortar boats 2.25 times during this bug. With 2.7 out I only got the credit for 1.25 times and now i'm pissed. should have just freed some of the slaves and let them go wonder eleswhere.
