I'm in the dark about downloading the mod right now - do I install the SDK, and download both the client and server files?

download SDK and HL2. Then just download the client. TG downloads the server for our gaming pleasure

Gonna download Nicotine's. Although I used the .md5 on the installer I had and it matched up. :/

Same thing happen to me at first poe, make sure to delete insurgency mod folder, then restart pc and give fresh install. It did happen to me again later, but i just shut down steam and re-opened it and it worked fine again.

So, I downloaded all of the stuff I needed, and I've got this folder thing, but how do you actually start the game...

I went into steam and its there. u can make a shortcut on desktop from there.

The client version is an install executable, no work needed. Just install then you need to restart steam. It'll be listed under the steam games.

If you've installed SDK base, try reinstalling the mod now.

If you can't find the game in your games list on steam after you install it, restart steam and it should show up(this is what I had to do).

installed ins mod
installed sdk
no worky
restarted steam
no worky
reinstalled ins mod
no worky

what the hell, over.

What part doesn't work about it? Error signs everywhere? Won't boot up, or even display?
