INS Desktop Icon

Here's a quick 2 minute whip up job making a desktop icon for INS using a small portion of the main menu if you've made a desktop launcher and are tried of looking at the generic Steam icon.

http://www.sas.jolt.co.uk/Assault9/Images/INSIcon.zip

Once downloaded just unzip the file somewhere, right click on your INS desktop incon, click Properties, then Change Icon and point the browser to the directory where you unzipped the icon image file and that's it

Or you could just browse to the INS directory and pick from one of the 3 icons there

A more reliable way to do this is to right-click on Insurgency in Steam, choose "Properties", and click on "Create desktop icon". Then you don't have to worry about standard setups.

Can you be more specific? I can't find any icons anywhere
Creating a desktop icon from steam doesn't give us any INS icon images, it just gives an INS icon with the STEAM icon image.

I wouldn't know; I don't use desktop icons. I used the shortcut so I wouldn't have to calculate the exact target to put in my fluxbox menu.

They're right there! C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\Insurgency\resour ce

Just right click and "save target as" to your HDD..
