    Confessions of a Team Killer

I have to say, I've never TKed in a game as much as I seem to be doing in this game. I need to get this off my chest, so sorry to everyone I've accidentally TKed on the server.

I've been quick to apologize over VOIP, which is sort of pointless since you are now dead and can't hear me, but I promise I'm sorry. I'm getting better though.

Helmets = Marines. No helmets = Insurgents. Got it.

This mod is super easy for Team killing. There will probably be alot of going on for awhile, until everyone gets the full hang of this mod.

O man, i think i had more TKs last night then actual kills. I even Tkd someone when i lagged out and couldn't see. I think thats what makes this game the most frustrating, making it harder for your squad to do its job when TKs keep going down. I think its the worse for the SAW/RPK and the sniper rifles, i can see someone there but not enough color or shape to tell.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

If you have time you should ask over VOIP whether there are any friendlies in the location you saw movement. Sometimes there isn't enough time for that though...

without having a mini map its hard to tell where people are and if you barely see one out on the horizon its hard to tell that that is a friendly out there trying to knife an enemy sniper so you just take em both down.

it really helps if you call out where you are regularly and enemy positions i think as we learn the maps better we will start to understand the arches by the red and white car.

i like the fact that there aren't mini maps huds or motion tracking in this mod you need to communicate well with your team or you will probably be tk'd

Hopefully they'll implement the VOIP over the head icon which will help this tremendously.

One of the insurgents has a beige towel on his head, so I sometimes confuse him with a helmeted Marine.

This will become MUCH easier once we learn the maps. While I was playing, I couldn't have told you what our objective was, where I was, or where anything or anyone else was if my life depended on it...

If you look at the maps before the rounds start it shows you what each objective looks like. Once i figured that out i played alot better. Also the CO can put down waypoints to show each one as well.

Maybe we need to have a free round tonight when the server is full before each round.

I've had the same problem. I've never TK'd so much. It's a combination of 1 shot 1 kill, plus unfamilar maps, etc... Not to mention ricochets.

Of course, I think everyone has "accidently" dumped a grenade at friendlies feet also.

Ive tked so much that everytime i tk now, i get kicked off and have to rejoin. the support machine guns bipod and people running infront of me didnt help to much. Neither does my EXTREMELY bad aim with the rpg. i think i got 2 friendlies in one shot once.

Ive noticed that i get kicked instantly when there is a TK but when others do it they dont get kicked. I have to reload the map and rejoin, ussually loose my M24 spot.

Yeah, it's almost necessary to have tight organization so that you know where your team is at all times. Playing this game without VOIP must be hell.

I enjoy playing as a support gunner. I like to set up and lay down suppression fire but everyone runs right in front of my line of fire. Most servers I have been on have auto-kick on the 1st teamkill so I get booted right away

My preferred tactic as well. Nothing beats that constant stream of bullets from the M249, if for no other reason than you can hear it being fired no matter where you are in the map and that makes me a bit paranoid when I'm unfortunate enough to be on T (or I, I guess I should say).
