Re: What can we do about the empty server?
I realize this wont change, but why is everyone surprised the server is empty when it has a password on it?
Taking the password off MAY result in a few more smacktards, but leaving the password on means you have no games ever. So which do you want, no games at all, or some games with smacktards that admins have to deal with? When you take the password off, its up to the TG community players to teach everyone how to play as a team, how to go after the objectives, etc. Thats how you start to build a TG player base, and from there you can have special passworded events one night a week or something to get that extra quality play. But currently, its like we're trying to kill an already struggling mod. |

Re: What can we do about the empty server?
The Server only has a password on it after 6pm, and it is publicly posted in the forums. Pre-6pm the server is unlocked and is availble to all the pubbies it can handle.
I think tuesdays will work out great for games. I will try to be there.

Re: What can we do about the empty server?
I've played on the server without a password and still see it pretty desolate. There just isn't enough people playing the game.

Re: What can we do about the empty server?
We should coordinate a time for people to get on. If everyone sees the server is empty, no one will get on, even if a lot of people are looking at it to see if it's full. If we set a time, there will be no confusion (except for people in different time zones...)

Re: What can we do about the empty server?
If you just get on the server instead of waiting for someone else to get on the server, it will populate...
Everyone is waiting for someone else to get on the server it seems.. This doesn't compute to a populated server very well. |
