Is it just me?
Or does the M4(or the M16, can't remember which one) that you get as a rifleman or grenadier have buggy burst fire? Also, I'm not able to load the M203 after 2 shots. Are these common bugs or is it my computer?

The M203 has three rounds but after you fire the first two you must switch to normal firing mode then back to secondary fire to load the last grenade. I'm not sure about the other bugs since I don't generally use burst fire.

Re: Is it just me?
I think there is a definite problem with the M16. Until this moment, I put it down to server lag.
In my case; Burst fire: Sometimes I'll get the three round recoil, but no sound for the first two shots. Almost always there is a delay firing in-between bursts. (More so than squeezing off on single shot) Most notable engaging the first burst fire. Which can (and has) lead to life and death, mainly my own. (Now unless engaged in sustained CQB, only now use semi auto fire) I still think the problem is exaggerated by the servers, as it's not every time and or on every server I join. Single fire: Not so many problems, but I have experienced glitches after using and switching from burst to single fire modes. IE: Once returned to single fire mode, I sometimes get the three round recoil but only one round discharged. (Which leads to inaccurate midrange engagements) Acacios. |

Re: Is it just me?
I've noticed that with the grenadier version of the M16, you have to double click to get burstfire. With the rifleman version, it will randomly fire 1, 2 or all three shots, though double clicking usually results in all three shots. Also, it might be just my memory, but it seems like if an insurgent gets either rifle, it will fire normally. It's really annoying, because I usually rely on the second shot to hit home, so that with the recoil, if everything goes of without a hitch, I get one shot on the legs, one in the stomach/chest area, and one into his face. Sometimes it ends up firing one shot at his legs, alerting him.

Re: Is it just me?
I never really noticed it that much before. Sometimes there is like a lag delay when u shot the burst and sometimes i only hear 2 bullets instead of 3. Thanks for the info guys. Ill be using single shot from now on.
