Rtfm!

I am not a supporting member(paypal hates me) so I can not get on the server just yet, but on the pubs it seems as if no one knows how to move through objectives and set way points.

After a breif over view of the manual it is quite obvious how scoring, and a win for your team, can be achieved.

http://www.insmod.net/manual

I am looking forward to playing with some guys who know what to do.

Re: Rtfm!

Heh, seriously. The map with the three objectives on the south side and the spawns on the north side... I, alone, would go in and tag the first two sites while my mates were busy putting dents in the cars in the streets. I kept calling out "Just follow me and get the sites, only two guys are defending back here!" and I had no help.

Then, we're pinned in spawn against three doods who are tough to hit and the team's whining about how they need to retake the street. As if they were gong to do something useful with it. >_>

Re: Rtfm!

On that manual the "use" key and "Cycle Firemode" key are reversed.

Use: F
Cycle Firemode: X

Re: Rtfm!

Yeah its not very up-to-date(keybinds out of order)...

But does that really matter any more all my keys are remapped to give faster orders and set way point while on the move as a commander.

I know exactly which map yoru talking about. I was playing as an insurgent cell leader, I had a way point set up on Charlie to get two insurgents in there to secure and had bravo as main objective, this way we controlled 2 points while marines had only time for getting alpha. But none of the team would even go to bravo even though it was the current orders. It really is a pain in the balls playing with people who just spawn kill and kill hunt.

On the other hand when yuo do get a team who understands the game it is a blast. I have had many good experinces on servers when there were 50% of marines who understood objectives.

/end rant
