Good games and thoughts....

Last night was good. It was just good to be back among friends. Not only that but killing bad guys too was also fun!

My thoughts:
First, this game still has some querkiness to it I believe. Several instances last night proved the hit boxes on people were funky. I won't go into every one of them but they were very apparent.

Tactics: Having seperate comms channels for different groups working together worked great. Later we were on one channel and it just got really busy. I seem to get lag on comms as well. I know we use TS but has anyone ever thought of ventrilo? We use it in IL2 and it works great.

ALSO, on the large multi island map we started losing our momentum we had in earlier maps. Maybe it was cause we chose the wrong base to capture first. Those BTR's were coming out of the woodwork! Maybe it was cause we just didn't have but like 3-5 people on a 150 player map. Whatever it was we just didn't do as well as earlier. Just my .02 cents.

Graphics: The graphics looked SPECTACULAR! I changed my driver to the 4.10 CATS (using 9800 Pro) and MAN! The water looks ALMOST as good as it does in HL2!! Flying on the BIG mutli island map I got to see cloud reflections on the water. This was absolutely beautiful! I had to remind myself that I was on my way to reinforce our team! LOL!

Sometimes you're going to loose a map - that's inevitable. Just stick with your team and do your best, that way you can blame your defeat on all those noob pubbies who didn't pull their weight
