I’m talking about the “Escalation” expansion pack and LAN play...Patch 1.5.1.5...and LAG ?


LAN?

I can’t seem to figure out how to get Joint Operations Escalation to play via LAN? Now Joint Operations w/o Escalation plays just fine via LAN but after loading “Escalation” expansion pack (I have two games both registered with NovaWorld) … it no longer plays over the LAN! HELP!


Patch 1.5.1.5 or 1.5.1?

I tried a fresh install with all up dates, but no luck. The current patch I have is 1.5.1.5 but when the game starts and I look in the lower right corner it shows 1.5.1 and not 1.5.1.5 maybe that’s the problem.

The auto up dater doesn’t seem to work. I downloaded the patch to the desk top and ran it from there. After running it from the desk top it looks like it works but I still don’t see the right patch number. Here’s what I see in the lower right corner:

V1.5.1
Escalation V1.1.0.0


LAG?

On some servers the game plays just fine and on others there’s lots of LAG. The ping times on both servers looks very good and the LAG seems to come and go, just a server issue I guess. I never had this before I installed the “Escalation” expansion pack and that’s why I mentioned it.

This "LAG" issue is being posted all over the Nova forums, and looks to be anither JO bug. Nova are, apparently, working on another patch to recify this.

I hear they're going to make both of these games Gold soon
