Re: Novaworld Gaming Community Plagued With Cheating & Misconduct
The original article, which has now been pulled from PRweb cited a "Jennifer Miller" from the Associated Press as the author.

If you're playing a game that really does offer more legitimate cheating scenarios than it does opportunities for you to change how you act in the interest of improving your performance in that game, I'd say it's time to find another game, as the goal is to have fun (for some, that includes pushing yourself to do better), not to be under constant and truly well-deserved suspicions that someone else is playing dishonestly. That's not fun.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Novaworld Gaming Community Plagued With Cheating & Misconduct
Well, I think there are some serious problems, and I hope Nova Logic atleast tries to fix them. Ghost Recon has a lot of cheats available too we have simply learned to recognise them and remove those players. Most of the cheats I have heard of are rumors have seen very few actual cheaters in action. The biggest thing is that PC performance and net conection are HUGE factors in game play. If you don't have a good frame rate it will seem as though every one is cheating. you need 30+ fps to have it really playable. This game is really heavy on the Workstation (player) side and light on the server side so your setup is key. I know my pc is passable but not as good as is possible, my old one on the other hand would play the game but made me hate it because of lag.
