Re: 3/17 - Reality MOD: V0.17 Launched
JBRanger and I tested the 0.17 on my server last night...Boys, we're back in business. So far, so good. This version fixes the bugs that made me put down 0.16. The sniper rifles are calibrated now so that you don't have to adjust for closer range (200m), so it's more realistic.
I'd say the run speed has been increased, not sure if that was in 0.16 or not.Buggy speed has been increased also. I noticed new skins on some of the helos.
Still have to do some learning, but I'm impressed to say the least. I basically skipped the 0.16 because of the bugs, so I've been holding off on JO...
Oh, also, for those ppl loving a .50 cal sniper rifle, try it out on light vehicles. See what damage you can do...still haven't tried it through the front window of a stryker...
well...if you need a server to test it on...ask me to play, i think i could assist with that...Apo seemed like he might try to update the TG server as soon as he tested it himself.

YEP! 0.17 is AWESOME! The buggies are so fast Orion and I raced a buggy and helo and he BARELY beat me (the helo won)!! LOL! Orion has pretty much stated everything I believe. The medic issue has also been fixed. All is well. (angels singing) Thanks Orion for an awesome time!! The buggy jumping was hilarious and I still believe I can get bigger air with the Humvee. But that is for a late date!! LOL!
Oh and I love the *twang* noise when you trip a claymore now!! Never heard it before!!

Re: 3/17 - Reality MOD: V0.17 Launched
I love version 0.17, which the folks at International Gamer had a couple of days before we got it here. I've set a BTR on fire with five shots from .50 Cal Barrett.
International Gamer has "grabbed market share" re the Reality Mod through aggressively establishing its relationship with Brutal-Arts, constantly running the Mod, heavily recruiting and trying to get tourneys going a la IC. All stuff we talked about here, but not enough interest expressed.
It's my impression that JO interest here is, at best, modest. I love playing it with you guys, and sometime or another I'll figure out how to make my GR work and play that too.

Maybe 0.17 will bring in some more attention towards this mod. It really is how it should have been in the first place.
