Joint Operations Server

Well folks.. I'm considering putting a Joint Operations server up again to play around with. A number of patches have come out and the game appears to have evolved quite a bit.

Anyone interested in playing a little JO?

Re: Joint Operations Server

It would be just plain JO for now.. I'm not sure how many people got the expansion and I'd like to start with the basic engine and gauge the interest from there.

Re: Joint Operations Server

I would love to play Apophis. I am still a member of International Conflict, actually on the admin staff now, so I still play the game. I would love to help out getting JO going here as much as possible. And I promise that what happened last time won't happen again.

Re: Joint Operations Server

Hrm. Don't know. I'm thinking that one more empty server won't kill us.

I don't have the game anymore, but I might go repurchase if this takes hold.

Re: Joint Operations Server

I've just been tossing around the idea as something we can throw up and get a bit of game time in. We could also play on some pubs as a team too. It's a real PITA to host though, quite a nightmare actually.

Re: Joint Operations Server

I know what you mean Apo. I have had to deal with server problems at IC and it isn't any fun.

Re: Joint Operations Server

Any good news on the coop front? I don't think I would get into it again for vanilla MP. Battlefield2 AAS is a better game in that regard IMO.

Re: Joint Operations Server

Yes you can host on your personal PC. Depending on your internet connection you can host between 2 and 20 people with a personal PC. Most people can handle around 6 or so without any lag.
