Anyone ever considered Xfire
A friend recently told me about this app that supposed to be geared to gamers, particularly online squads and clans. I don't know much about it but it looks pretty slick. My old squad has stopped using mIRC and ICQ and uses just Xfire now. Anyone think this might be a fit for the TG crowd?

I'm not keen on using it since we have TeamSpeak. Anybody that is playing should be on TS. If they want to play, they can idle in the channel. Xfire is nice for those that don't use voice comms since it's a great way of keeping track of who's playing what.

Sarc,
I wasn't proposing that we use it as a way to eliminate TS. I think TS is invaluable. I was thinking more along the lines of using it to see where everyone is. Supposedly you can launch the game right from Xfire.
Then again, I guess you can just get on TS and ask

Yeah, that's what I really meant. It's just redundant when you can check TS and have chats there. Although, I guess you could have separate chats with Xfire unlike using the message system in TS.
