Cheating will not be tolerated on Tactical Gamer's Joint Operations server. If a player is caught cheating, he or she will be kicked/banned from the server. A successful appeal to the JO staff will be required to lift a ban.
If you suspect another player of cheating, the correct procedure is to report the cheat to PunkBuster and NovaLogic. Please do not complain on the server or over TeamSpeak. It intensifies the negative environment created by a suspected cheater. It may also be possible that your accusation is false.
Before reporting a cheat, prepare the necessary information:
Player's name
Description of suspected cheat
Time and date of cheat (be sure to include the correct time zone)
Server's name (press Tab to see the server's name)
NovaWorld server (East, West, or International)
The more information you record the better. Be sure to be as clear as possible and to proofread your report. The developers have to understand the cheat in order to reproduce it and detect it.
To report a cheat to NovaLogic, log in to NovaWorld using the account created in JO or your regular NovaWorld account. Click on Players on the menu at the top. Then click on Cheater Report on the menu that appears below the top menu. NovaLogic does not accept screenshots for the reason that they may be altered.
