Epic VS game tonight (Sunday) on No Mercy (normal)
holy hell... adrenaline is still pumping after just finishing the best versus match I've played to date!! It was me, Fallen, Luckyshot, and Makaveli squaring off against Project, Reader, Bodofooko, and Sordavie...
Epic close games through out! Fairly equal tank/witch spawns which was nice. For some reason the infected were ripping it up tonight! For the first three levels nobody reached the safehouse!
So the score was within 30 points going into level 4... the elevator level. Somehow I think both sides reached the safe-house on that level with a full team. Tank spawned for both of us down below and both teams just shredded it with autoshotties in the stairwell by the saferoom.
Then the finale was epic as well. We went first. I thought we were dead for sure when I found myself smokered off the edge and landed 2 stories down on one of the side platform things. Next thing I know the rest of my team is there along with boomers and a flaming tank. Somehow we manage to stay alive and three of us made it to the chopper. (Poor Fallen, his gimpy ass got run down within 10yds of the helo skid XD)
Then the bad guys had an equally crazy finale round. They were almost all in the red when the second tank was dead. On the long run to the helo pad, a couple of them almost went down... I thought Project might get caught by the horde, but he ended up getting on.
As the helo flew away, nobody knew who was going to win. We went into the last level with about a 120-150 pt lead, but they saved all 4...

Yeah, some good games for sure. There were several close calls for both teams along the way. I think I've got the game mechanics and map layout down and hope to start working on being less tactically moronic next

That was an insane round. Thanks to Reader for helping this noob line up his tongue and barf shots, and to everyone for bearing with my "tactical moron" moves as well - maybe Fallen and I balanced each other out : ) I felt like I was always getting saved by somebody, or being reminded to keep up, or I was going the wrong way (I could go on).
It was a crazy feeling limping towards the chopper with everyone in it and knowing those four were somewhere behind me.
Probably took me an hour to fall asleep, damn game! Love it.
