carnage... pure carnage (friday night VS-Adv)

Last night was a BLAST! Thanks to boot, bodofooko, sordavie, makaveli, project, sawviper, and fallen for the most fun I've had in a long while. We played No Mercy on versus-advanced, and it was insane fun. The carnage was extreme, but we were all laughing almost all night - giggling with delight as we ripped eachother's guts out!

We went first as survivors, and managed to get three to the saferoom - if only because I got incapped on the stairs and acted as a human-pipe bomb. That was the last either team would see of the saferoom for the entire rest of the night!! Hell, most rounds we didn't even make it to the crescendo events! Round after round, the survivors got shredded and it. was. awesome. I'm pretty sure this is exactly how versus is meant to be played - where seeing the saferoom is a rarity....

One particularly memorable moment was on NM03, as we approached the lift/gas-station area and were clearing out the garage along the right. Makaveli was crouched as hunter right beside a gas pump.

HUNTER! BUT WATCHOUT DON'T SHOOT TH<KA-BOOOOOOM!>

<uncontrolled laughter>

god this game is fun

Yeah, that was a lot of fun. It was me giving the great advice about not shooting the gas station, but I'm not sure who blew us to bits. I think I was incapped in the blast.

This game is too fast paced to grab many screenies, but I did catch this one of fallen finally living up to his name:

I could make a habit out of this.

Nah, we survived it. I don't think we all died until we got to the next corner.

Anyway, found this scoreboard too. Both teams were dishing it out like this.
