zombie hit boxes?
It seems there are just headshots and then 'anywhere else'. Is this right? does shooting the foot do the same damage as shooting the face/chest/neck/head/breast area?

seems that way to me. When I am surrounded by a hoard and there are friendlies close by, but can't see them (too many or I'm puked) I just start shooting down at a 45 degree angle or so... blasting legs off. Harder to accidentally shoot a team mate. Or I crouch and shoot UP at a 45 degree angle. but usuallyd own. Or diagonally to the side. Or I jump up, grab the ceiling and drop a nuke... wait.. who put this colored stuff in my water? THE WALLS! THE WALLS ARE COVERED IN SPUNKY GUNKY SPIDERS!

Someone told me once that he had checked if the witches have hitbox in their head and said there isn't one that is diffrent from something like the leg. HE WAS WRONG!
Well I kinda knew that because I once shot witch in the head with the hunting rifle and got message "Kebab got headshot on the witch" or something like that.

I stole it from another forum, and the formatting used there didnt copy over here well.
Here is his original post, maybe that will be clearer, but eventually it will get deleted as valve purges threads that dont get new posts every few months. I would suggest somebody re-do it here and it get's stickied so it doesnt get lost.

I happen to have Steam forums username and I used it to quote him and thus got the code you silly people.
