    denying spawn to infected

One thing that really annoys me as infected is when I can't spawn. So lately, when I'm survivor, I've been thinking about returning the favor... basically standing somewhere so that we can't be ambushed quite so easily.

Your whole team doesn't have to be in the room healing/looking for pipe-bombs - two can be out in the hallway, making the infected spawn further away.

Of course you have to be carefull... you don't want to go off all by yourself and get dragged off. Not that I uh... nevermind, that never happens.

Very good point (and Strategy..) ... How many times have you been waiting in a cool spot to spawn when the Survivors just sprint out past ya and eliminate your spawn abilities (Grrr..) Another thing for the infected is to anticipate this and have a Hunter or Boomer Ready a bit farther down the line to slow their progress down should they get past the ambush point..

And not that this is on topic..but is there anything more frustrating then watching a newb Boomer spawn behind the group as they sprint by and then try to catch them by running at the survivors... RUN AWAY... then E key.. It will save your life..and you will get there quicker...

Yes. I also try to stand at hallway intersections to eliminate two entire halls that they can't spawn in.

As infected, if you get too far from the survivors, you can 'respawn' closer to them. So, if you're a boomer and get stuck behind a fast moving group of survivors, you can run the opposite direction (away from them) and eventually you'll get a prompt allowing you to respawn by pressing your action key.
