Survival Death Toll - Drains
Strategy 1 - "The Tank is stuck in the pipes!"
Target Time: 15 minutes or more
Weapon Selection: 2 shotguns, 2 assault rifles
Mixing up the weapon selection or going with 4 shotties is fine, as this totally depends on whether people are comfortable with picking off the tank at range and using their pistols (for the assault rifle guys) to conserve ammo.
1. Assault rifle guy 1 stands on left ladder side covering ladder + bridge. Assault rifle guy two stands on health pack foot locker covering right ladder + others. Shotgun guys: First man posts up near the right ladder but in the railing area so he cannot be pulled or hit by hunters. Second shotgun guy stands opposite of the first shotgun guy, right under the alcove above the entire area where zombies occasionally rain down from.
2. We then assigned roles to each person. The key is to call out where the tank is coming from. If the tank approaches the left ladder and climbs up, he can swap positions with the shottie guy below the alcove and cover him from smokers at range. The shottie guy will attempt a body block of the ladder to stop the tank while his team rotates to shoot it down. If the tank approaches from the bridge section, the assault rifles will have weakened him (as the approach was already called), and the two shottie guys in the middle can finish him off. If the tank approaches from the right section, since the tank is climbing (it will not use the ladder), there is no point to body block. Instead both shottie guys blow it away while it climbs along with the assault rifle on the foot locker.
3. The shottie guy in the railings has a clear shot downwards to cover the right ladder. He/she can also cover the top, however this is secondary. The guy below the alcove should turn and shoot the alcove top if he hears zombies coming through. This is extra important because tanks CAN come from the alcove. However, beacuse this means the tank is funneling through that tunnel, if called out, your entire team can unload on the tank as he does this or minimize the damage to one punch or two.
4. Ammo runs are conducted using assault rifle guys to pick smokers as the smokers will post along the far side. The far side is where the zombies generally spawn out of the large drain, and where most tanks spawn as well. With smokers killed at long range its a easy run to get ammo, or cover ammo runs from the hold out position.
5. Hunters will not pounce up but rather climb to your position allowing you to virtually shotgun them all before they have a chance to pounce. Occationally a tank may climb up into the upper pipes on the far side. The tank(s) here will be stuck for your leisure to kill or ignore.
Strategy 2 - Ammo and Pistols
Target time: 11 minutes
Weapons: 4 shotguns
1. Instead of positioning inside the room where the event is, you setup further towards the beginning of the map, where they have fenced off the large drainage area. Your team with their backs against the wall, use the large funnel like tunnel to pistol all zombies and then use your four shotguns to finish off tanks with a single clip.
2. The key here is to utilize your pistols and only shotgun tanks. Since ammo runs are a long run, and healthpacks are even further, there will be only one or two runs. However, technically you do end up with enough shotty ammo (with two runs) to take out 18+ tanks. However, after 11 minutes, there should be no way for you to actually reach the healthkit area without suffering lots of health loss.
3. Alternatively you can move over to the health kit area during the lull before 10:00 mark. This would mean you gain access to the extra pills and kits + ammo. However, if you are going to do that, you might as well use the other strategy above.
