L4D Unavailable?!?
After I installed the two prison maps, L4D has been acting real weird all of a sudden. First, it wouldn't run due to "gameinfo.txt" missing. After googling that and fixing it, it said the game was unavailable. I did a un/reinstall of L4D and I got the same message. Did I do something wrong, or is everyone getting this?

The unavailable message pops up for me sometimes aswell. It has started working after steam restart or few tries later. I don't know what's causing it.

Re: L4D Unavailable?!?
Usually when I get a "Game is Unavailable" its due to a issue with Steam. Restarting Steam fixes the issue but I bet that didn't work for you.
As for the prison maps, I had no issues installing them, though I have not tested the second map. There are 5 other custom maps that just got released for beta. Testing these I found numerous bugs and memory issues that I did not post them since they were not ready for any sort of gameplay (think Dead City, but more bare, not as long, buggy, missing materials).

Re: L4D Unavailable?!?
When version 9 became available, I deleted the left4dead folder and installed version 9. This could be the problem.

Re: L4D Unavailable?!?
There must be a specific way to do install Dead City but for now I'm not going to install it. It just causes issues for me and is not worth it. It's a good set of maps that could use some tweaking but the hassle is not worth it in my opinion.
