nvidia users rejoice!
The new beta drivers on the nvidia page www.nvidia.com clear up the multi-core rendering stuttering issues and give (to me at least) a 10-20 fps improvement while allowing me to play in full screen mode instead of windowed mode.
I wont promise they fix *YOUR* specific issues, but they are defintely worth a shot if you want a frame-rate improvement.

Strange, I never have run into this issue and I run an 8800 @ 1080p resolution. Might grab these for FPS increases though.
