    Processor help

Hey guys, I need a bit of info here....

I have had L4D since the week of its launch, and love it. However, about 3 weeks ago I upgraded my 8800GTS to a GTX275, quite a nice step up. I then done a totally fresh install of XP and everything is all nice and clean. However now for some reason when I turn L4D up full, my CPU craps out to 90-100% Although my graphics settings are now higher, my CPU can't seem to keep up. However, this is the weird bit, when I dropped my settings back to the level they were at prior to the new card, it is still 90-100%. In fact, no drop of setting however dramatic lets me play well, and its recommended settings are 640x860 and low on most things. Any ideas why this is? No other game on any settings maxes out my CPU, even stuff like ETW on full.....

CPU Inter Dual core 2.66 overclocked to 3.2
    GPU GTX 275
    6GB Ram (I run W7 as well)

    Re: Processor help

Fixed it, turns out there is a bug with some nVidia drivers, and it is random in that not everyone with the same drivers and card as me will cause it. I turned "enable multicore rendering" OFF and it is now great, everything maxed, CPU usage is under 60% and smooth as Nicole Scherzinger's bottom......
