Xbox 360 all the way! There is way too much lagg on the computer for me regardless because there is always that noob from europe that can somehow find a way into your game and it does nothing good for whoever is hosting it. Plus custom content probably wont happen immediately due to the fact that modders will probably play the game, then need to figure out how to mod maps for the game itself.

I have an AMD 4600+ with 2 GB RAM and an 8600 GT on high settings, and the game runs perfectly smoothly. I must say I am VERY impressed with the optimizations Valve released the game with. I also haven't come across any bugs so far. I really think this game is made for the PC anyway, as the speed at which you have to move sometimes I couldn't even imagine with a controller.

you can easilly plug XP into an HDTV as far as surround? get a 5.1 or heck a 7.1 sound card, a pc will always beat a console because a console will end being a pc, for control? you can map a Xbox 360 into your pc

Noobs from Europe? Pshh. You just wish you were as awesome as us. Besides, there already are custom maps out. Well, okay, they are maps from other games put into L4D, but not the original either way. And a laggy player only hurts himself with lag, it won't affect you other players at all.

They did it with Shadowrun and it didn't turn out too well I heard.

I'd love to be able to do this game crossplatform, be so amazing!
