Re: Are you a PC or a Console?
I've rarely had a problem getting a game to run so I'm not really that concerned. However, I do like the fact the PC players get lots of extra maps, free from the community. Didn't COD4 players have to pay for the maps that PC players got free? I probably have 100 new maps for cod4 too and from what i've heard, these aren't available to xbox players (according to a guy at work) but since I don't own one I couldn;t say. Controllers also suck for FPS so PC all the way on my even higher resolution monitor.Jex.

Re: Are you a PC or a Console?
FPS cross platforms will never work. Like they did with shadowrun, the PC player would need turn speed and precision nerfed to level the playing field. The only platforms I see working out reasonably well are RPG's, as long as there is no PvP as the extra keys could become a huge advantage.
I enjoy my console gaming experience, but I know the mouse is far more precise than the joysticks.|TG-12th| tHa_KhAn

Why not try it without nerfing the mouse tracking? Maybe it's an advantage, but the console users are going to have other advantages (such as larger average screen size, more convenient button placement, better sound systems on average). And I've heard from many console gamers that they believe the thumbpads are better than the mouse. Would be nice to see that theory tested...

Re: Are you a PC or a Console?
Unreal on the PS3 has the option to play the game with a mouse/keyboard instead of the controller. The devs clearly think there's a difference because there is an option to have the server controller only or mouse/keyboard only. There are servers where the control types can be mixed without any nerfing. As for the results of the differences...
