Are you a PC or a Console?

Hi, I'm a PC and I'm looking forward to playing this on a PC. I could be convinced to give it a shot on the XBox.

Re: Are you a PC or a Console?

I would think this one would be a no-brainer, but plenty of gamers are still hooked on the PC platform for some odd reason. Left 4 Dead’s gameplay is intended to resemble a movie, so why not experience it as one? HDTV, surround sound and the comfort of your couch while thwarting zombie hordes can’t be beat. The typical controller versus keyboard and mouse argument is also moot with this one. Left trigger, right trigger and a couple of buttons are all you need to survive. I’ll throw in the fact that Xbox LIVE is leaps and bounds better than the Steam Community. Even Lorax could drum up four friends to play with him on the Xbox 360!

I figured you'd be lurking around here somewhere... Last I heard, the game only supports four players, so I would only need to find three friends, not four, who think hand cramps are more fun than a playing on a PC. See what the XBox is doing to your brain. Walk away from it while you still can, just put the controller down and walk away.

I should add that when a point doesn't matter it is moot not mute. You're right that the XBox is doing some bad stuff to Pfeil22's brain.

It's a PC for me. I don't have a 360 and it's not on the PS3. Regardless, I'd rather shoot zombies with my mouse/keyboard. XBox Live is great but Steam works just as well for finding players. It's also a moot point since you wouldn't want to play with randoms.

Laugh all you want, my friend, but Xbox gamers tend to get those cramps from actually playing games, rather than sitting in front of a computer trying to load them. When you can’t get the game running smoothly on your PC, just look me up on Xbox LIVE. I’ll keep a slot open for you!

Re: Are you a PC or a Console?

Although I love my Xbox too, I went PC on this one. It was cheaper and the demo runs fantastically so I figured why not?

The game is reasonably easy to run... and hardly no load times, probably same as the xbox.

Re: Are you a PC or a Console?

I will be getting in on the PC, mouse keyboard + 5.1 surround sound head set + compfy black lazy boy chair + beautiful SAMSUNG screen + meeting all my friends from other steam games + plus much better fps + much better resolution + my comp is alot more stable than my bros xbox 360 which has red ringed three times now in the last year + the mods and scripts that will come out to add to the game + did I say my compfy black lazy boy chair.

What a no brainer that question was.

It's not like games suffer on consoles. Fallout 3 has been experiencing problems on all platforms.

FYI, I've logged 16.2 hours with the demo the past 2 weeks! I never knew I'd get so much play time out of 2 maps.
