Interested in helping out on a mod?

Hey guys, i'm the lead 2D texture artist for an upcoming mod Ground Zero. We need another 2D texture artist to help us out. Proficiency in photo shop is needed and must have some prior knowledge of texturing for source games. You must also have the VTF plug in for photoshop. Thanks for everyone who wants to help. Left4deadforums.com supports the mod, and we have received interest from the CAL gaming league.
If you wish to apply, use the following format and email us (gzdesigns[at]left4deadfiles[dot]com)Or, shoot me a PM the following:
A left 4 dead billboard, sized at 640x400.
Name: (first only)
Steam ID (if applicable):
Years of experience in photo shop:
Years of experience texturing (source or non-source):
Age ( Doesn't matter that much) :
Own l4d?:
Time to offer per week(1-5hrs would suffice):
Thanks!
Pwn3ge

Re: Interested in helping out on a mod?

What is this mod about? Is there a goal of what to change or what to add to the game? There doesn't seem to be any direction with it or what it is about. There's only a partial storyline...

I agree here; a story-line doesn't count for sticks unless there is strong leadership, a clear vision, and reachable goals. Just asking for people without telling them what the end result will be is a waste of time and energy.

LOLZ

I did check out the site. That's why I asked wtf the mod is about. If you want to generate interest in the mod, you have to give something to the public. You have to give something to potential team members. Would you take a job for company xyz without any details of what the company does?

Throw out a bone or nobody will take this mod seriously.

Re: Interested in helping out on a mod?

Ok I went through the whole site, searched high and low and all I could find was the idea that you seem to be making a map? Not really worthy of a website and forums lol. So do go on tell us about this map, but if you want to spark interest I would leave out the fact that the morons over at CAL have shown interest lol.
