Call me dumb, where are the TG servers? Are there any for this?

There are a couple of them, just join the TG L4D-playergroup on Steam and you will see them. Most games are arranged between people who already have added each other as friends though and often, these games are played on other servers as the ones TG owns.

When you are in the L4D steam group, it should come up under the steam cloud.
