    L4D - Valve's Gaming Visuals

Presentation on work behind L4D and TF2: http://www.valvesoftware.com/publica...ToGameplay.pdf

Take a look at slide 58 for a earlier look at l4d

Thought I would share this to anyone who's interested in the source engine, the game, or game design in general.

Good reading for mapper. Couple of pointers:
    - Use lights to "guide" the players where they need to go (not too much tho or you'll loose the athmosphere.
    - Do not use so much light outside the areas where players can't go so they don't get confused.
    - Car lights left on are awesome.
