Re: Infected, which is the best?
The problem with rock throwing is that there's some situations you simply can't use it, like the finale of blood harvest.
We were using teamwork, a boomer was ready to bile, and a smoker was ready for second base, a hunter was quickly about to spawn in.
I don't mind so much loosing control if it means that another like minded player is gonna use the tank well. I just don't like a game presenting you with an impossible situation. That's not fun. That's like playing a game like Counter Strike against someone with an invincibility cheat on. You can never win, you can only loose.

As a tank on Blood Harvest finale you can throw rocks from outside through the window if they are holed up at the ammo stack. You'll still get your share of hurt but its a good way to disperse the survivors.

Re: Infected, which is the best?
Probably tank. It's fun scaring the crap out of people with the hunter, but being a living artillery piece is just too much fun. I tend to hurl rocks from across the map when I'm the tank, and when I'm close to loosing it, going in for the kill. hahaha.

You know those miniguns people are fond of using?
I also throw one or two rocks or objects when survivors are backed into a corner, because charging into a face full of autoshotguns usually results in rapid death.
I'll also throw rocks when I'm out in the open, to try and avoid/dodge molotovs while still keeping the survivors on their toes.

Re: Infected, which is the best?
It is kind of smart to have hunters to "steal" the kill of smokers so they can recharge their tongue to pull more survivors down. It's a lot easier sometimes for a smoker to pull someone than it is for a hunter to pounce.

Re: Infected, which is the best?
I had a few fun moments with the smoker tonight. Had a number of nice pulls that seemed to just "work" with what the rest of the team was doing.

Re: Infected, which is the best?
Somker cant really kill on it's own. it's best to drag people back for the hunters to get hold off
