how did he turn in mid-air like that? When he bounces of the smokestack it looks like he actually steers the jump?

Yeah, you can sort of glide in mid air with a hunter... some very rudimentary steering.

Re: That's no Hunter, that's a zombie Super Man!
Man that was awesome.
I just got in some real MP game time last night.... I'd just be happy to actually land on someone from a descent jump, as opposed to pouncing from 5 ft. away.
Thanks Rince for hanging around and puking on me a few times hopefully your child didn't return the favor. Hope, he's feeling better.

That is perfet hunter play and people yelled at me when I tried to do this stuff :/
Notice that the players are close. This increases your chance of landing on someone so you dont waste your burst damage you built up. 2ndly notice that many times the players are in a horde via boomer, this holds them steady so you dont have a moving target. Wait if you can!

You're playing with the wrong people then. Add me in steam eroak, catman1975.
I think it's fun pouncing on the guys even if they're in a group.
Now that I've got my feet wet, I don't feel self-conscious about playing the game. It's a nice break from 2142.

"Metal" ones contain excessive 'raaaaa' and may be NSFW. Not sure.

Re: That's no Hunter, that's a zombie Super Man!
Great pounces..I wonder what the damage is on those pounces?
But you have to admit..he is getting himself setup for those..kinda ignoring what the rest of the team is doing...
Unless you discuss as a team what your next step is you end up like this hunter..jumping in the middle of a shotgun sandwich..

Re: That's no Hunter, that's a zombie Super Man!
Most of those pounces are 20-25 damage pounces, wow!

And in a tightly-grouped team under pressure, pushed apart when the hunter lands, especially when a boomer is within ambush distance...
Bad things happen.

I wish you could hang onto walls, it'd allow for those spectacular pounces from high altitudes.

Sometimes I don't think this is such a bad idea because the survivors would be much more likely to see you, so the trade off for being able to land higher damage pounces would be increased visibility.
Works well in Hidden: Source.
