I don't like the smoker much, I never feel like I can do much or assist much. The same with the tank, I always feel like i'm running in circles doing little other more than wasting 40 seconds (it's inevitable that someone has a molotov with my name on it)...

Do you mean which is least fun to you or that you're least effective with?

Hmmm, either would work, but I'm looking for which is least fun to play. For me, if I'm not effective with it, it's not much fun anyway.

Boomer, just spawn for 10 seconds and then wait for another 20. Sure im effective at it and have caused havoc, just not enough game play.

Re: Infected, which is the worst?

hard to say - i have tons of fun with all of them

If i had to pick one it's the hunter.. simply because the hunter's best moment isn't all that great. With the smoker you can drag someone off the ledge or to some inaccessible place... simultaneously breaking up the group. With Boomers, you can boom all 4 and watch the ensuing carnage... and there's hope you can survive after you barf on them sometimes. Tank... well yeah, you have the possibility of killing all 4 survivors.

But with hunter? I don't know... I just don't get all that jazzed up when I get 4x slashes in or make a long pounce....

no way! I think it's really effective... you just have to be a LOT more patient than you do with the other three.

well when a smoker cant win a 1v1 its time to go home.

the tongue breaks if the target is moving too much or moves behind a wall, not enough damage for the time it takes to pull, survivors can shoot themselves free with relative ease. pulling people off of things is great but when it doesn't work half the time something needs to be looked at and addressed. for me really the smoker is less about skill and more about seeing if the survivors do something stupid and then getting lucky enough for the tongue not to break.

I just hate being the hunter. Especially now that everyone's learned that as soon as you hear that screetch you start to melee like mad, not firing. And with melee hitting in a 360 degree area for boss infected, it just isn't fun, making a lackluster pounce melee'd in the head, seeing my screen go nuts right before I die.

Even if I do land the pounce and nobody's there to help their teammate, I'm not doing anything. I'm watching my character rip on them. I don't get to do anything, I'm helpless watching myself NOT play the game.

I get up and make myself a sandwich. Or play a game of solitaire, it's really sad when you have to play another game while playing a game.

Re: Infected, which is the worst?

I picked the TANK as the worst to play...because on Tier 1 weaps and no Molly's it's game over... and On Tier 2 weaps with Molly's it's game over (for the Tank)..
As for the Hunter.. I remember at the start you would always end up with the hunter and it sucked.. but once you start to get the hang of the hunter.. and get the rare 20+ pounce it... or Miss completely but swipe the heck out of them (I have done over 100 points of damage as a single life hunter to 2 players because they DIDN"T KILL ME) .. Then it's kinda fun.. Sometimes just running in with a Horde all quiet and such..and just swiping 10 points a time.. Sweet...

I don't like the hunter a whole lot because I end up dying too much as him. Sure, you can jump off of roofs and deal a ton of damage but it's up to the horde to deal damage, not just you. I think all of the special infected need upgrading, but this would hurt all new people.

Re: Infected, which is the worst?

I'm not very effective with the hunter unless I get very lucky with my timing and my teammate's, but I still find it fun to play. The boomer is the same for me, not usually effective, especially if the survivors huddle in a corner and melee spam, but I still find it fun to play, even when a single stray bullet means insta-gib.

When it comes to fun, both Smoker and Boomer. Sure, the Boomer can be quite effective, but playing him just isn't much fun. And the Smoker...well, he could be extremely useful - if it just wasn't so easy to get free from his tongue for the survivors.

I struggle with the smoker. Like everyone else i think the accuracy is a little bad and he's grip is too easy to get out off.

The jumping is just the fun part of being a Hunter... but 9-10 times it's not done at the right time or place and you actually deal very little damage on a pounce..Just a loud suicide.. But using the HORDE as a smoke screen with their 3 points per hit (or is it 2?) you sneak in and hit for 10 per.. that will show the survivors who's boss..

Come to the dead side survivors!...

I am looking forward to a SDK to come out where a level or two can be made for Hunter training... Maybe put some BOT Survivors out running around as targets in the city and let you jump on them for practice...
