Looks like valve is trying to make L4D a different case than TF2 with the frequency of DLC, lets just hope the trend continues and isn't a one time thing...

very good news

one thing to be aware of is Valve are planning new content on the xbox and PC at the same time, this will mean the delivery schedule will be determined by the xbox 360 that has a long approval cycle at Microsoft

EDIT
of course the thing that would really open it up is the SDK so people can make there own content

I still want either a cricket bat or a chain saw lol, I really am surrprised they did not give us a melee only weapon, I mean I know that you can melee with any weapons but I think that a melee weapon like a cricket bat or baseball bat that could kill in one hit to the head however have a worn meter and would splinter after like 20 hits or somin so just a weapon to have some fun with then breaks and you have to find another would be a great addition.

I would love some powers for the Smoker (or additional to the boomer) that will eat through Drywall...to open up the closets and maybe some acid vomit or something for those nasty, under the RAMP moments, you gotta deal with..

Ya, i was kinda depressed when the back said 10 new weapons, so i was thinking sweet we are gonna have a lot in our arsenal, only to find out, there are really on 5. So that kinda sucks. What are all of them? The shotgun, uzi, auto shotgun, hunting rifle, assault rifle, single pistol, double pistol, molotov, and pipe bomb? Thats only nine. Is the 10th one the melee? See, i just don't get it. They should of had a bunch of weapons, so you wouldn't be using the same ones over and over again. But it does sound promising. And it should be free since the game is still $50 dollars at retail stores. But some new powers would be good, and hunters should kind of be like spiderman where they can wall jump to some degree. So they can get up to higher places. So you jump on a wall, and you have a second or two to jump off and onto another one or you fall. But some other powers would be good for the other infected as well. I do have a question though, it says on the back of the game case (if you bought it from stores) that "Plus, Versus Mode - play as the Boss Infected!" what is the boss infected? The tank. I was hoping that on the last campaign, you'd have to fight a big boss dude. But you didn't...

Oh. Okay. But there should still be a moondo hard boss that attacks your escape vehicle at the end, and while he tries to start up the apc again, you have to fight it off. =) lol
