Typical Server Stats
I can't really say for sure if this server is typical, buy Ydiss has been collecting statistics on one of his servers and posted about his findings.
Everything from % of smokers who hit with their tongues, to % of boomers who fail, to maps with the most quits, kicks, and a lot more statistics to boot.

Re: Typical Server Stats
we were fighting infected all across the square
the scent of their blood was in the air
a witch in the courtyard gave us quite a scare
and things only got worse from there
when a hunter grabbed bill and thrashed him in twain
francis was hung by a smoker as he howled in pain
zoey with her pistol and took careful aim
she fired 2 shots, but it was all in vain
just then, when all hope had been burned and bled
the infected all scream and turned and fled
clothed in a flannel shirt blue black and red
came an angel of Badass, named Chicago Ted
with his twin shotguns a blazing, he slaughtered that horde
till he got bored of that, and switched to his sword
his cap coated in blood, while us he ignored
for the thrill of the hunt was his own reward
now he was no chuck norris, dont get me wrong
but ted could do this crap all day long
the survivors lept up and fought along
but ted would do this work for a song
with corpses piled as high as can be
Ol' ted lit a smoke, and howled with glee
as he used his sword to carve knotches you see
into his belt, a thousand times 53
as a tank round the corner, we filled up with dread
but he just laughed an shook his head
with a powerful holler the wild savior said
"NO ZOMBIE IS SAFE FROM CHICAGO TED!"
He's the "I killed 53,950 zombies" guy.

Re: Typical Server Stats
Its the story, but I believe what was posted was a work by a fan.
Chicago Ted is an almost mythical being in the L4D universe who's legend has grown as the stories go. It first started when they released a SS with the writing on it back in 2007 from "Chicago Ted" that you see in the SS above.
There is a little Chicago Ted in all of us now, when you fight through that horde of zombies to get the hunter off your friend, you are channeling Chicago Ted. That last guy who kited him around and killed him while fighting off the other infected was channeling Chicago Ted. When you slap then shoot that boomer perfectly so nobody gets biled, tell them Chicago Ted taught you that one. When it's down to just you and you still make the safehouse, tell them Chicago Ted was watching your back.

Re: Typical Server Stats
Yeah. If you read World War Z, there is a short excerpt from a downed fighter pilot turned re-supply cargo pilot. She write in her post mortem that she kept hearing on her radio another person telling her what the right course of action was (such as asking her if she needed to take the ammo from the Lexus, or what was she forgetting before leaving her co-pilot who was eaten by zombies). In these cases she basically relied on this person, who later was diagnosed as her collective experienced based on training in these situations, who really didn't exist. Hence some other stories in the book tie together the psychological pathology of shared existences so that these mythical heroes are brought to life.
I hear hes got different names in other countries (Chicago Ted).
