When the elevator is moving the hitboxes on the infected get all messed up. Most commonly they constantly fall through the floor.

It's especially brutal if you get a hunter that manages to pounce in the elevator. They're almost impossible to hit because the hitbox is all over the place. I saw a hunter get an incap there with 3 survivors unloading/bashing at him because nothing would connect.
