ANNOUNCEMENT: Scripts and Macros
Some scripts are ok - such as the fire-mode script that gives 3-round burst to the AR... or a toggle-crouch so you don't have to contort your hand. These scripts don't let you do anything other players can't do "naturally". Other scripts really shouldn't be used on our servers:
Any script that enables an otherwise nearly impossible ability should not be used.
One good example of a no-no is the rapid-fire pistol script - this turns the pistols into fully automatic weapons. This completely unrealistic and breaks the immersion for other players. It also severely affects the game balance. Neither of these are appreciated by the other people you're playing with. Please disable such scripts while playing with other TG players!
Thanks!

Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Scripts and Macros
I would suggest adding
cl_allow_wait_command 0 to the server.cfg, that disables 95% of any of the offending scripts. That command will block a few legit scripts, but to make an omlet you have to break a few eggs, you know? The pistol issue you spoke of isnt a big deal really, you can make a bind to bind your fire key to the mousewheel for rapid clip emptying which IMO is fine.

Or just click that mouse button FAST! woot!
Yeah, I haven't installed any scripts.
1) I don't know how.
2) I'm too lazy to learn
3) I prefer the "pure" experience. (a lame excuse to justify #s 1 and 2 above)"Sympathy means a lot, coming from Kulmar. I didn't think it was possible.
Good luck getting rid of your disease. If you're infected, though, stay away--I can't afford to be a zombie right now.
