Re: L4D in 3D!
You can usually get the glasses for free, so they aren't very expensive at all.

Re: L4D in 3D!
I'm running windows 7 64bit so I'm not sure this will work... I'm dual booting on XP but for some reason my keyboard doesn't let me choose XP on the bootscreen so I won't be able to try it with XP
.
Sounds fun though!

Re: L4D in 3D!
This seems to be the best instructions
http://gamerslastwill.com/2009/02/02...eah-heres-how/
for us euros without superbowl lasses there are registry options for the older fashioned red and blue
time to give it a go .... I will report back latter

Re: L4D in 3D!
Will report. Was at CES and saw this, and already have all the pre-reqs. In fact, building a system to do this for the TV since at CES they were showcasing it for television more than gaming.

Re: L4D in 3D!
I just cant work this out
http://gamerslastwill.com/2009/02/02...eah-heres-how/
step 4 execute registry hack
start > run > regedit
I can find this folder but then what ?
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
EDIT worked this out, open the link in IE7 and its a tiny file to download, then double click to run and run it with regedit
5. Enter the nvidia control panel and enable the steroscopic settings in the stereo tab.
wheres the stereo tab, is it in the 3d section, i dont see it ?
thanks for any help

Re: L4D in 3D!

the pictures is in 3d, put on your red & blue (cyan) glasses
for me, i couldn't get the nvidia drives to work, i dont know why
then i tried iz3d
http://www.iz3d.com/t-dcdriver.aspx
it worked easy as pie
supports red & blue (cyan) glasses and yellow & blue (superbowl glasses)
I also did not have to lower my res or graphics at all and no FPS drop, its great
I justed played 20 mins with Red Talon and he can testify that all i said was how amazing it all was in 3D and I said that again and again
you have to try it !!

Re: L4D in 3D!

put on your red and blue glasses
it gets even better, while ingame you can change the depth of seperation
the first picture was at the default 20%, this second one is at 300%
3D is just so awesome and this game is ideal for it
