well for us that play on the 'advanced' server the normal server is just too easy, its all to common to hit 180 health bonus since there are/were so many health packs and so little damage dealt by the infected, I can see why Valve locked in a single difficulty for the majority of players (standard across the many servers, don't want a lot of people complaining that they can't survive). Advanced is certainly not for everyone but its a great challenge and more in depth experience in my opinion.

Agreed. Once you play Advanced versus, normal difficulty is a snore-fest IMO.

Yeah, I purposely tried to go without using First-Aid in Normal once. My computer compatriots kept trying to heal me when I was at 50%, so I tried bunny-hopping to get away. Didn't work too well. I wish there was a balance between Advanced and Normal rather than Easy.

That's a great idea Kebab! I hope someone can record this if it becomes a reality. I'm interested in joining but it's really difficult for me to commit like that :P. If you could have a few open matches over a weekend I would definitely try to hop on.

There is - try our "No Meds" servers. Damage is on normal difficulty, but you won't find any medpacks along the way. The shorter levels are doable, but the longer ones take some really good teamwork for survivors to reach the SR... and if they do, the health bonus will be pretty low, so scores stay tighter.

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
No reply from valve, I might send more e-mails later today for diffrent valve employees.
I've accpeted Lyra and Reaper into the team. I know of your guys work.
As for the fourth spot Im choosing between Unload and Browna3 for now. I need to play with you two bit more to know your strenghts and weaknesses.

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
I would not mind playing in this, but from the looks of things, I might have to settle for watching the demos

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
Dream team eh? How serious is your team taking this Kebab? Like competition serious/win at all costs, or try to win, but don't feel bad about losing?
If you guys are looking to get some practice, I'll be happy to help.

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
2nd that motion on AVS =)
I've been busy with work and been outside more on the weekends with the weather being more tolerable in the midwest....its cut down on playing time. Should be back soon enough to be target practice!

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
Just looking to have good time and challenge valve. These ARE the guys who made the game. They designed it and know all the nooks and crannies, they have played this game more than any of us. Dream team would be the team that is has the most experienced players TG has to give them a challenge.
Here's what valve had to say:
Quote:
Chet Faliszek
Mikko,
We are a bit busy currently with the SDK and DLC release, but post releae we would love to play you guys. I have played TF2 on your servers before and always enjoyed the community.
Thanks,
Chet
