Re: Looking to challenge Valve
Excellent! I can't wait to see the how our guys fare against the actual Makers of the Game!
I'd be glad to help out if you guys want practice. I'm probably not as skilled as some on the dream team, but if you need the help...

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
True that. But we (the players) camped under the ramp on NM5, discovered the elevator tricks, found the best spots to hammer the survivors, invented tank tactics that forced them to patch, and found numerous exploits that gave us the advantage. I think this should be cakewalk, but I guess we can never be too sure of ourselves.Just looking to have good time and challenge valve. These ARE the guys who made the game. They designed it and know all the nooks and crannies, they have played this game more than any of us. Dream team would be the team that is has the most experienced players TG has to give them a challenge.

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
A little late to the conversation, but I would be up for doing this. My schedule is a bit hectic, and so my play times are not very consistent which means I would probably be better suited to a reserve role. Unfortunately, I rarely get to play on our servers because no one is ever on them when I am, but I have plenty of pub experience. I might be able to set time aside to play on our servers more if someone could tell me what our peak times tend to be.
There also seems to be a lot of interest in a competition from others on the boards. We might look into organizing a tournament like we have done in the past for CS:S.

Re: Looking to challenge Valve
I notice that peak times for the server often start around 8pm EST, and go on from then. You however need to get a friend that is one who often plays in them, as most of the TG game I play on the server are set up as an 8 person versus lobby that is friends only, then we connect to the server using the search key.
