I'll buy it and love it, but I do feel cheated in a way because all of this stuff was suppose to come to L4D to make the game complete.

sigh, I'll buy it. I'm too pitiful to not buy it. But I agree with what someone said earlier, Valve has just lost my respect. Maybe I'll have to find some other system like steam so I can buy my other games through a different store instead of steam.

Meh, it doesn't bother me. Yes, I feel that it's a little bit 'un-Valve', but most of us in the TG community have played Battlefield games at one time or another, and the things we put up with from EA make Valve seem like wonderful people.
I'll buy it and I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Well, how many other game developers are left that you can trust or respect then? Blizzard Activision? Take 2? I know that game publishers have been on a big decline since EA bought everyone (Bioware for example), so if this is about supporting a healthier gaming market, I'll gladly put down some money so we see brighter games in the future. That aside, we'll have to wait and see what L4D2 is really about months from now and whether L4D1 gets any updates (patch just came out with the vpk support). Perhaps 4v4 matchplay will come out as well before L4D2?

It's a very non-boycott point of view, but don't let that stop you from watching it despite what side of the argument you are on. It's got some points that many of the raging fans are overlooking that should really be considered, even if disagreed with, by anyone with a brain larger than a peanut.

I would love to see players from all consoles and the PC be on the same servers. That would be a great feature for a new game.

I'm going to buy it from Steam. Got shelves full of boxed copies of games and not really interested in looking to buy new storage space for the boxes

Looking at the videos of people playing L4D in console would mean the console guys would be the weakest links in the team. Can't beat mouse in FPS. Reaction times of the people were horrible.

Anyway, I don't think it's possible because of all the diffrent coding and stuff. Versions would have to be the same and console guys seem to have to buy their updates and for PC there can be updates every week with some fixes that makes the two diffrent versions not able to play together.

they still adding content to l4d dont worry such as most gear from the 2nd game and the modes i heard this from doug lombardi himself
