    pistols only, help

    i need help to do pistol only achievement for a campaign and whilst im at it no healing aswell anyone up for it ?

    I could help you some time.
    You can also do it in Singleplayer. Just pick a map you know and set the difficulty to easy.

    It would be sort of a riot to have four humans playing pistols only in a campaign. Might have to do it on Easy or Normal to get through it, though. Not sure about the no healing thing, that should probably be done when you are actually using real guns.

    No healing is tough from what I've heard, even on easy. (I tried to do it once and Zoey healed me in front of a Witch. I made sure she died for that. )

    I can't remember what difficulty I did pistols only on, maybe normal. It was kinda fun.

    Pull out your own medpack will stop bots from healing - even if their progress bar is almost done

    Nah it's not tough. I did it with bots in under 15 minutes with no mercy.
    Pistols are quite powerful.

    Akimbo assassin, just pick a map you are familiar with and set it to easy. You can speed run the map if you know it well enough, the only tricky part would be the finale. You need your bots to help you there, but it is still not terrible.

    Man vs. Tank, same thing, speed run a map on easy. With any luck you will lose the bots, and if it is an early map and you do not have tier 2 weapons yet just light the tank with a molly and run for the safe room. If you do have access to tier 2 then grab the auto shotty and you should be able to drop the tank in under 20 rounds.

    Stand Tall/Unbreakable, same thing again. Set the game on easy and speed run. If you manage to get stand tall then the no healing achievement would almost be mandatory. And Lyramion is 100% correct, to get a bot to stop healing you pull out your kit.

    I will try to look for people in-game for some campaign mode some time this weekend though. I am at 55/58 achievements at the moment, unfortunately the ones I am missing are: What are you trying to prove?, Stomach upset, and Nothing Special. I imagine the last two are going to be done on easy, and the first is obviously for expert only.

    I'd suggest No Mercy. If you're finding the finale difficult, there's a glitch on the rooftop (zombies go mostly dumb/moonwalk off the roof, tank normally spawns and dies within 20 seconds) but where's the fun in that?!

    The no medkit one isn't as hard as you might think. You can still use pills and get it. ;-)

    So true on how powerful the pistols are. Once you get the hang of it, it works like a machine gun with unlimited ammo. When i did it I found that I was quicker to shoot things since I was not worried about ammo. Also got really used to taking a knee for that extra accuracy. Actually when I play hard levels we tend to move slow and most of the guys use pistols until the you know what hits the fan.

    Hardest part for me was dealing with Tanks, but you got speed and range. If somebody else in the group has a shotty or something then really its not your problem. :P

    Tried doing the no-damage one on easy on Crash Course. A tank spawned in at the first warehouse and punched the fork lift, incaping Louis. I think I'll go back to No Mercy...

    I still dotn have a lot of basic stuff like.... no teamdamage lol... ugh... but then again I only really care about VS mode after playing coop 2-3 times on a map
