Re: Left for Dead
I'll be converting server 2 into an L4D server. I know it's only 8 players so might use an additional IP for another server depending on how CPU intensive the server will be.

Re: Left for Dead
Oh man thanks Vulcan. That server should be full. The game should be alot of fun and does entitle alot of close teamwork.
I got a question though. In single player there is levels of play I think Ex. easy, hard and nightmare. I guess the admin will be able to set it up if its to easy for us correct? By the time I finished this question I figured you could anyway
FUN FUN

Re: Left for Dead
You can ask on the wish list forum for its own forum.
Its looking like this is gonna bring enough interest that we would want a server...

Pre-sales of Valve's zombie shooter Left 4 Dead (PC, 360) are outperforming The Orange Box pre-sales, by nearly twofold

Re: Left for Dead
I don't think modding the player count is a good idea. Yeah, it sucks that we can't play with 14 players, but I've found that increased player counts almost always ruin a game. Especially with a comapny like Valve, they're gonna balance the game perfectly for 4vs4, and we're going to need a lot more modding done to make it balanced again, and even then the chance of it being on par with what Valve did is pretty slim.

Re: Left for Dead
Maybe the cost for a L4D server is half the cost of a CSS server, therefore making us have two? Mmh That would be nice
