Left for Dead
This is somewhat OT but I was wondering how many CS TG players might be interested in Left for Dead when it's released and would TG host a server if there was sufficient interest? The need for real teamplay and tactical nature of the game seem to be very similar to the TG style of playing CS so it might be a nice fit.
There's plenty of info on their site plus some new video footage if you aren't familar with the game here: http://www.left4dead411.com/

If it isn't PCS, whats the point?

Aggressive Defense (an oxymoron): A naturally occurring situational event where a defender is caught in a role reversal anomaly. Usually associated with lack of practice, discipline or map awareness in a team based conflict.

Re: Left for Dead
Definitely it has great promise as a coop game should be just great for TG style of play.

Re: Left for Dead
At first glance, it kind of looks like a more organized zombie mod.

That's like saying a game is a more organized version of Quake... impossible.

Re: Left for Dead
It's cool. Though I've got like 10-20 games I'm getting when I get a better computer and it's not on the top of my list, I'm definately gonna check it out at some time.

Re: Left for Dead
I will be picking this up when it is released for sure. I know it will have a very close knit teamwork value to it, everyone will need to watch each others backs.
Also after seeing 28 weeks later it looks like a cool rendition and such plus I am a survival horror fan of old. Looks like no more silly zombie mod for me thank God.

Re: Left for Dead
I think that if this game ends up going on Xbox Live, the world might suffer a huge meltdown in terms of productivity. This kind of game is exactly what the mainstream consumer wants, co-op. Not deathmatch or single-player, co-op.

Seriously.
I actually think Valve is going to really kick everyone out of the water this fall...then again have you looked at how many high-profile releases we have coming up this Q3 and Q4? It is outrageous. Every system (PC included) except the PS3 is going to have about 2-4 killer titles.
Can't wait!
