Im not a huge fan of PVP either but it is a good to switch things up from time to time. I just saw on the forums that they plan on adding a little PVP, more like a side game.

We noticed in your Beta application that you are part of a large guild. Don't forget to get other members of your online gaming guild to register. If someone in your guild gets into the Beta Program, it automatically increases your chance of getting in! The top 10 largest guilds will automatically receive up to 100 Beta invites and the remaining top 90 will get up to 20 invites. The best way to encourage guildmates to sign up is to post the LOTRO Beta URL (http://lotro.turbine.com/betasignup) on your guild forum or email it to your guildmates directly.

So let's get lots of people signed up and to check out beta because you know we all love Middle Earth!

We should try to get that on the front page so we can get enough guys. We already have some signed up under the TEGL name so I guess we will stick with that for the beta?

Vulcan, how did they know what guild you were in?

Also, I tried signing up for the Beta and every username I could conjur up was in use! Literally 10-15 names (including whistler's mother and every variation I could think of, including whistlas mutha) were being used. I guess I'll have to keep on trying.

Wasn't it a question on the form?

You used the EVE Online variation of TG for your LOTRO sign-up? I know I just used the TG umbrella when I signed up.

Vulcan used TEGL which is the EVE TG corp (guild). I know I used it, not sure who else did though.

I used Tactical Gamer, with tacticalgamer.com as the guild's website.

Og well, yeah thats what I did because of how WoW and D&DO were set up... likely they'll count us as two groups.

I just edited my beta app, I lied and put tacticalgamer as the guild info and WoW was the top game played with the guild or whatever. I'm going to hell for this. I really want to try this though hehe.

I did the same. I figured what the heck, TG could count for one guild... There are more people who enjoy MMORPGS other than those who play WoW and EVE (which i'm still not sure what EVE is).

tried eve, made a cool looking character, then realized it was a ship game, then uninstalled.
