    50/50

    An idea is a 50/50 split. Just basically 50% new maps and 50% stock. When i say new maps, I don't mean we all need to start spending more time on FPS Banana. Basically the maps we have now, spliced with old maps that will assure some new joiners.

    The way it would work is if we had Italy, Havana, and office. (stock maps)
    We have PCs Siege, Artic storm, and Alps. (New)

    So we would have a taste of the new and the old. And any new players that would hop on, won't be overwhelmed by any of the newer maps. This would allow them to get accustomed to how we play and work as a community.

    I really like this idea. The current rotation really needed a bit of a mix-up anyway (Take Dust2_Night off the server please). I say we start with a smaller rotation, about 10 to 12 maps, then we expand with more people, putting in more of the maps we already have and more that we may find.

    No one will join on cs_havana, but de_dust2, cs_office, cs_italy, and even de_aztec and cs_assault will draw players. Should we run a stock rotation until the server has population, then switch it to custom maps? Or would you want a 50/50 rotation off the bat, and exploration into our larger custom maps when an administrator is available to switch things up?

    Maybe not all stock maps but more stock maps than custom will help the more time the servers on stock maps that people know the better chance people will join heck you could even throw De_westwood in that will draw tons of players

    I say we do only stock maps for a while (yes, even de_dust2). We can always just set our custom maps to be played at anytime (which is what happens anyway). Currently, we only play like 5 or 6 of our custom maps; all the others are changed. I really don't see the point in having them on rotation if they are never played. We should do stock maps and then vote for our custom ones in-game.
